Speaking of Aloe vera, I think many people are familiar with it. It can be seen on balconies, ceilings, parks, and roadside green belts. Beverages in convenience store refrigerators, masks in drugstores, and buffering agents in beach tents all contain its ingredients. Aloe vera is closely related to people's daily lives in fields such as horticulture, diet, and medicine.
It is one of the well-known forms of aloe vera, which contains water and polysaccharides that form transparent mucus, making it sticky like mucus.
Is Chinese aloe vera from China
Aloe vera, not referring to plants, is a collective term for hundreds of plants, all of which are succulent plants. Previously, aloe vera was divided into the family Liliaceae and the family Aloe vera (still classified under the family Liliaceae in the Flora of China). However, according to the APG IV classification system, aloe vera is classified under the subfamily Aloe vera in the family Aphoraceae, the genus Haworthia familiar to horticultural enthusiasts, and succulent plants such as Gasteria in the family Aphoraceae.
I often hear about Chinese aloe vera, real aloe vera, and oral sex aloe vera, which are the most common types of aloe vera. Originating from southern Africa, tropical regions, Madagascar, the Arabian Peninsula, and other regions, it has been introduced to various parts of the world due to the rise of trade and the development of horticulture. In temperate and tropical regions such as India, Australia, and the Hawaiian Islands, several species of aloe vera can now be naturalized. Leaves with white spots are sometimes identified as their variants. However, there is no evidence to suggest that they originated in our country. There is a wild distribution of aloe vera in the dry and hot valley of the Honghe River in Yunnan, known as Yuanjiang aloe vera. There is an independent research viewpoint on species classification, but it is generally not recognized, at least with insufficient molecular evidence.
It is said that the name of aloe vera comes from the Arabic word alloeh, which means "bitter". However, it is true that if aloe vera is chewed together with its skin, it contains a large amount of aloe vera extract and will definitely become bitter. There are two commonly used expressions for the Chinese name "aloe vera". One is literally, aloe vera represents black, and yuan means yuan. The yellow juice flowing through the cut edges of aloe vera leaves is oxidized into black in the air (due to the presence of a large amount of anthraquinone substances). Another type is aloe vera, which is a transliteration of the Arabic word "Roe" for aloe vera. In the Song Dynasty's "Kaibao Bencao", it was referred to as Luhui or Nuhui.

Generally speaking, the leaves of plants in the genus Aloe are thick and juicy, with long and pointed leaves arranged in a lotus shaped pattern and serrated edges. However, different types of Aloe have significant differences in leaf color, texture, warts, size, and leaf arrangement. The raceme is extracted from the center of the leaves and is much higher than the plant. It has small flowers like firecrackers on top of it, and the fruit is in the constellation of Cassiopeia. It can be sown or expanded due to the buds in the basal constellation of the plant. Some species can be inserted into the leaves.
Generally speaking, aloe vera is a large and easy to cultivate plant, especially some classic aloe vera species such as emerald leaf aloe vera and Curacao aloe vera. It does not choose soil at all and can be grown with garden or red soil, without any need for water or sunlight. It can be basically cultivated and is suitable for lazy people. Aloe vera is cold resistant, but it is basically not suitable for outdoor cultivation in the north. In some warm and tropical regions in the south, such as Yunnan's dry and hot river valleys, Hainan, and Fujian's southern Fujian, Aloe vera can be cultivated in the open field.
Of course, in expensive or high-altitude producing areas
